A local guide born from real life on Leros
The Leros Way is a community driven platform created by Marietta and Shira to help visitors and newcomers truly connect with the island of Leros. Born from real life on the island and a deep love for its people, it was inspired by the way locals naturally share knowledge, hospitality, stories, and support. Seeing how difficult it could be, especially for non Greek speakers, to find reliable local information and authentic experiences, its founders created one central place where everything about life on Leros could come together.
Connecting people, places and everyday island life
Today, The Leros Way is more than an online guide. It is a bridge between visitors and the local community, bringing together workshops, cultural activities, walking tours, Greek language lessons, cooking experiences, local storytelling, creative events, businesses, practical information, and personal encounters. Through these experiences, visitors can discover Leros beyond the usual tourist path, meet local people, taste traditional flavours, learn about the island’s history, and feel part of everyday life on the island. More than a guide, The Leros Way reflects the spirit of Leros: open, welcoming, helpful, and deeply connected to its people.
